In these terms and conditions, “we” “us” and “our” refers to Jamu Jawa Your access to and use of all information on this website including purchase of our product/s is provided subject to the following terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to amend this Notice at any time, and your use of the website following any amendments will represent your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions as amended. We, therefore, recommend that each time you access our website you read these Terms and Conditions.
WHAT YOU AGREE BY USING THIS SITE
By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you must immediately stop using the Site.
Until registered you are a “User” and you do not have the authority, implied or express, to access the Services and Jamu Jawa disclaims all liability concerning your use of this Site.
By proceeding to purchase through our website, you acknowledge that you are over 18 years of age.
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. Our price list can be accessed from our home page, and we reserve the right to amend our prices at any time. If you have placed an order, we undertake to fulfil your order at a price listed at the time you ordered.
We may change, update or otherwise amend the Site at our absolute discretion and without notice.
We strive to ensure that our products are described as accurately as possible on our website. However, we do not warrant that the description is always 100% accurate. Where we become aware of any incorrect description, we reserve the right to correct any error or omission.
Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only, and we do not guarantee that any image will reproduce in the same product presentation nor that any given image will always reflect or portray the full design or options relating to that product.
Purchases made using Credit Card or Paypal will be invoiced by Julie Dharma and not the trading name Jamu Jawa. Both are one and the same.
When you visit our website, we give you a limited licence to access and use our information for personal use.
You are permitted to download a copy of the information on this website to your computer for your personal use only provided that you do not delete or change any copyright symbol, trademark or other proprietary notice. Your use of our content in any other way infringes our intellectual property rights.

These terms and conditions are to be governed by and construed following the laws of Queensland and any claim made by either party against the other which in any way arises out of these terms and conditions will be heard in Queensland, and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those Courts.
If any provision in these terms and conditions is invalid under any law the provision will be limited, narrowed, construed or altered as necessary to render it valid but only to the extent required to achieve such validity. If necessary, the invalid provision will be deleted from these Terms and Conditions, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
We undertake to take all due care with any information which you may provide to us when accessing our website and not to give this information to any other party except for delivery of the goods to your nominated address. However, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you may provide to us. The information you transmit to us is entirely at your own risk although we undertake to take reasonable steps to preserve such information securely.
It is advisable to seek professional [medical] advice before initiating any new regimen. Jamu Jawa is not a medical organisation and Jamu Jawa nor it’s employees and/or staff can give any medical advice or diagnosis. Any/All information garnered from Jamu Jawa shall not be interpreted as a substitute for a medical advice or a Doctor’s consultation, evaluation, or treatment. Our products may not be suitable for everyone. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use our products. If you have any concern, you are taking specific medication or have a medical condition, please seek medical advice before using our products.
You must not consume our products if you have allergies that result in anaphylaxis (or similar) or diabetics who are insulin dependent. It is your responsibility to inform us if you suffer any of these conditions before you place an Order.
Jamu Jawa products are made in a kitchen that contains nuts. Should you have known allergies to nut products exercise caution before consumption, as there is always the likelihood of some traces of nuts being present.
We do not make ANY promised health claims about our products.
We state our products to be organic as all the ingredients we use are sourced from farms utilising organic farming practices. We do NOT claim to be certified organic.
CONDITIONS OF USE
It is a condition of use that:
You register on the Site to purchase any products and request services from us;
You only use the Site for lawful purposes;
You do not engage in any improper, indecent or offensive behaviour;
You are not breaking any local, state or federal law in your relevant jurisdiction by accessing this Site;
You will treat the Site and its Users with respect and will not partake in any conduct that could be considered bullying, harassment, degradation, insulting or otherwise demeaning to the human standard of any other person (as determined by us); and

You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the conduct or activities of any User or Member and that we are not liable for such under any circumstances.
If you are provided with a username & password to access the Services, it is your responsibility to keep your username & password secure, and you indemnify us for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of unauthorised access to your account. You are solely responsible for the use of your account, irrespective of whom it utilising it, whether with or without your permission.
You agree to indemnify us for any loss, damage, cost or expense that we may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with your use of or conduct in connection with the Site, including any breach by you of these Terms & Conditions.
Individual rights and remedies may be available under the Competition, and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or similar legislation of other States or Territories and may not be permitted to be excluded, restricted or modified. Apart from those that cannot be banned, we and our related entities exclude all conditions and warranties that may be implied by law.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for breach of any implied warranty or condition that cannot be excluded is restricted, at our option to:
- the re-supply of Services or payment of the cost of re-supply of Services; or the replacement or repair of goods or refund of the cost of replacement or repair.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our online store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

Our store is hosted with Wix. They provide us with an online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Wix/Mailchimp/Paypal data storage and SQL databases. They store your information on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Wix stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
